FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
How often do you service my property?
We have service schedules that are weekly, twice-weekly, bi-monthly, monthly and one-time-only cleaning.
Having a party, picnic,or outdoor gathering? Let us know and we'll schedule your cleaning around that date or set up an extra visit.
Is there a contract? How do I Cancel/Suspend Service?
There are no contracts. If you need to suspend or cancel service, simply email us at contact@nopoopzone.com. We just ask that you give us one week notice and we’ll gladly accommodate you.
Do you work through the winter? What happens when it snows or there is extreme weather conditions?
We’ll work in most weather except for heavy rain or snow. If there is more than an inch of snow or rain, we will postpone that day’s service until the next business day. If there is an extreme weather condition or any other reasons beyond our control that will prevent us from completing that week’s work, we will follow up the following week to clean your yard. The previous week will not be charged. If snow stays on the ground for more than a week, but there is no new snow to cover it, we will do regular cleanups to prevent excessive accumulation.
What do you do with the waste?
We bag the waste and remove it from your premises.
For your protection as well as ours, we clean and disinfect our equipment and work boots after each service. This is how we ensure we don’t bring or take any parasites or pathogens with us.
What are your Hours of Operation? What about holidays?
Our hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5pm. We do not work the following days:
New Years Day; Presidents Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
When a holiday falls on a regular service day, we will likely make up service the following business day or the following week.
Should I unlock my gate?
Yes. Please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You may provide us with a key to the lock. Please note, if your gate is locked or your dog will not allow us to clean the yard, it may be necessary to charge for the service call that could not be completed.
Can you work with our dog in the yard?
We can, if necessary. We get along well with dogs; however, there are cases when a dog will not let us into the yard or will interfere with our work. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean the yard, we ask that you restrain or confine the dog.
How do I pay you?
Payment may be made right after we clean your yard by cash or check or we can leave your bill in your mailbox on a monthly basis.
Payment for your initial service call must be made at that time.
We'd appreciate monthly invoices be paid on or before the 5th of the following month.
We're sorry but we will have to suspend service for any account still owed by the 28th of the month following the due date until full payment is received.
What are my responsibilities to maintain service?
Yards and pens must be accessible. Grass and leaves should be kept to a minimum to locate the waste. We cannot provide a 100% guarantee as long as snow, long grass and leaves get in the way. We will still clean your yard to the best of our ability.
Aggressive dogs must be left indoors on scheduled cleaning days.
Payments must be made in a timely manner, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Do you guarantee your service?
We promise that you will get the service you are happy with. We know our business depends on doing excellent work and it’s the quality of our service on which we stake our success. We’re working very hard to make our name mean reliable, high-quality service. We strive to provide perfect service, but if there is a time when our service is not completely satisfactory, other than any limitations mentioned above, please let us know right away. We will make it right, either by coming back to re-clean the yard or we’ll credit your account so you won’t be charged.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!
